By 2010, I had sold off most of my outboard gear and all of my ProTools gear and converted the studio over to Reason. This meant that I no longer had to deal with “side-chaining” MIDI instrumentation and could mix and add effects to all the programming in-line with the audio layers – neat! I had always been into “Industrial Rock” and when my good friend Matt said he had a couple song ideas – we decided to get together with Chris and see what we could come up with.
Turns out the guitar riffs that Matt had written were killer – and with some programming from Chris and vocals from yours truly – everything quickly took shape. We cranked out a two song EP and had a pretty positive response – but due to other commitments – the project died in the studio and never saw the light of day.
