In 1997, I joined my first project, Arsenic, after being coerced my cousin to try out for her boyfriends band. They were a few years younger than me, but were very talented musicians – and so we decided to give it a go.
We went on to write a handful of original and enjoyed moderate success on a local level. We made a solid name for ourselves as a “bar band” – playing every venue in the greater Youngstown area with our shows being promoted by CD106 “The Wolf” as “Wolf Nights Out”. We gained popularity over our three year stint – however – while our covers were popular – our originals began to get more and more progressive, and were not as well received by the crowds we were put in front of. We went our separate ways in 2000.
