Why I *heart* RunKeeper
So by now you all know the story about my journey from obese 225lb wildebeest back to a svelte 150lbs. What you probably don't know is that, though I pledge my allegiance to Lose It! with every breath I take, I also love RunKeeper. I don't use the word "love" that often when it comes to an iPhone app (although I am bat shit crazy about Pulse New Reader. I use it on my iPhone 4 and my iPad 2 - and it rocks - but I digress), but I mean it. Between Lose It! & RunKeeper, you can reach any fitness goal you could imagine. There is no better "one-two punch" for tracking your wellbeing. Now, without further adieu - let me tell you why I love RunKeeper.
Why Wireless Charging is Stupid
I will never understand what the purpose of wireless charging is when it comes to cell phones. Think about it - how many times have you used your cell phone while it was plugged in? Yeah - a bazillion. Now think about how annoying it would be to have your phone stop charging each time you picked it up. Yeah. Ridiculous. Now I know some of you might say you could just pick it up, use it, then put it back down and let it charge some more. However, that has got to have SOME effect on the lifespan of the battery.
Are we really going to pay more for an inconvenience? I'll just bring my cable, thanks. I only have about a million of them lying around...
Apple: The Root of All Evil?
Let me start by saying that I love my MacBook Pro. I also love my iPhone 4, and love my iPad 2. I have been using Apple products along side their Windows counter-parts for the past 15 years. Each have their pros and cons. I am neither a Apple fanboi or Windows guy - I am in love with both for different reasons. Now that you know where I stand, let's begin.
