The Day I Met Gordon Lightfoot
Once upon a time, in a land far far away - there is a wonderful place called Mountaineer. There are pretty lights and fun noises - plenty of audio/visual stimulation if you are into that sorta thing. At this magical place of wonder is a stage, referred to as The Harv. One night, my faithful sidekick Eric and I not only got to see Gordon Lightfoot play his 70 year old ass off, but we got to meet him! I was like a 13 year old girl at a New Kids on the Block concert.
This Is Why I Am Fat…
Sometimes I really piss myself off. For months now I have been watching what I eat, eating only 1400 calories a day, and have been working out at least 4 days a week. I finally start seeing some results - and bam, I go throw it all away in a week. I feel like I weigh a million pounds again - and all I wanna do is take my family to a waterpark this year. Fuck. Today is the day I get back on the wagon, back in the saddle, back to the future… Nevermind.

I have more to say on this topic, but i am super-fucking-busy right now. Almost too busy, in fact, to enjoy taking video on the best Father’s Day present a man could ever hope to get - the 32GB iPhone 3GS.
Honestly, I love Father’s Day and all - but I feel that Mother’s Day is more justified. On Mother’s Day its like saying “Thanks for carrying me around attached to you for 9 months before painfully pushing me out of your vagina for 5 days.” Father’s Day, however, is a little different. It is more like “thanks for putting your penis in my mom for at least 30 seconds.”
